We’ll find your best life insurance solution and guide you through the application process. Why spend hours or days trying to DIY when we can help you narrow down the best policy for your needs and receive protection or give protection to a loved one ASAP?

MOST COMMON NEED- The most common life/disability insurance need we see is single parents or couples who have children, a mortgage, both or are planning on having either/both in the near future. The most common solution is term life insurance because it gives you the most coverage for the lowest rate during the 20, 30, 40 year policy contract. If you plan ahead then you shouldn’t need life insurance once the term is up because your mortgage is paid down, kids are grown and your income and savings should have increased over that time.

MOST COMMON NEED- COST RANGE- Term Life insurance can range from $15-$70/month for most people in their 20’s-30’s depending on the years of coverage selected (20, 30, 40), the amount of coverage ($250k, $500k, $1M) and any special features or add-ons.

DISABILITY (loss of income)- We recommend everyone without disability insurance through their employer consider adding it to their life insurance policy. You’re more likely to become disabled then die. Disability insurance can help cover expenses while you’re unable to earn income.

If you’re unsure where to start then let us know a good day/time to call OR select Option 1 under QUOTE DETAILS when submitting the form below and we’ll work on an initial rate spread for you.

EMPLOYER OFFERED LIFE INSURANCE vs. PERSONAL LIFE INSURANCE

If you’re able to receive life and disability insurance through an employer or a spouse’s employer then be sure to max out those benefits because the cost for group benefits is very low for the amount of coverage received.

If you have dependents that rely on you and your income then you should also consider setting up your own life and disability insurance outside of employer benefits.

Why do this?

1) Some company benefits have fine print that their coverage is waived after a 30, 60, etc. day absence. So if you experienced an extended illness or injury that led to disability or death then you might lose those employer benefits before they payout. Make sure you understand your employer benefits.

2) Having your own life and disability coverage outside of employer benefits can protect you during planned or unplanned unemployment gaps. You could try waiting until you’re unemployed to set up these policies but depending on age, major surgeries, illnesses or new health issues you could be denied coverage at that time.

The Texas Insurance Broker has access to multiple insurance companies that specialize in offering life and disability products for various household needs.
